Nestled in Amityville Long Island, there is a 55+ active adult community known as Snug Harbor.

Snug Harbor is an established 55+ Condo community that was opened 1970. You can reach this neighborhood by Merrick Road To S. Bayview Avenue.

This 55+ Condo Subdivision opened its doors in the late 1970’s and later additional Condos were built in the 1980’s. When available, this Suffolk County NY active adult community was built with 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom townhouses. Some have a garage, some do not. You will find central air conditioning and electric heat here. If you want a Ranch style Floor Plan, there are some where no other unit is above, and also some with upper level units on the second floor. The upper unit condos have exterior steps to the unit. No Pets are permitted in Fairfield at St James.

The Clubhouse in Fairfield At St. James is active with 3 pools, gym, card rooms, billiards, social events, and there’s a tennis court also.
